How the Firefighters schedule works
Banana Ball does not play a home-and-away league schedule. The six Banana Ball Championship League teams travel together on the Banana Ball World Tour — 75 stadiums in 45 states in 2026, including 14 MLB parks and football stadiums such as Kyle Field and Gillette Stadium — and each stop pairs two of them for one, two or three games. The Firefighters therefore play an uneven number of games against each opponent, which is why the BBCL standings are ordered by winning percentage rather than wins.
The 2026 season has three parts. An 11-game preseason opened on February 26 in Tallahassee. The top four preseason teams then played the first Banana Ball Open on April 16–19, which the Texas Tailgaters won to claim the league's only automatic playoff berth. The 50-game regular season runs from April through the finale in Foxborough, Massachusetts on August 29, and the top four teams by winning percentage (with head-to-head record, trick plays and point differential as tiebreakers) advance to the October playoffs. The league has not yet announced the playoff bracket or dates; the championship game, the first Banana Bowl, is Saturday, October 10, 2026 at Nationals Park in Washington, D.C. How to get Firefighters tickets
There is only one official way to buy tickets to a Firefighters game: the Banana Ball ticket lottery at bananaball.com/tickets. Fans join the lottery list for a specific city, the league holds a random drawing, and selected fans get a purchase email from FansFirst Tickets roughly two months before the game. You only need to enter once — entering early or entering several times does not change your odds — and being drawn is not guaranteed. For most 2026 tour cities the lottery lists closed in late 2025, so if a city is not accepting entries, the honest answer is that the primary sale has passed.
