Banana Ball Ticket Lottery Explained: Dates, Odds & How to Enter

How the drawing works

Banana Ball's ticketing company, Fans First Entertainment, runs a lottery list for each season and, starting in 2026, a separate one for the Banana Bowl. The league's help desk describes the mechanics in four sentences, and they are worth restating because most of the confusion online comes from people assuming it works like a presale.

1. While the list is open, you submit one entry and pick one city of interest. The 2026 form collected name, email, cell number, and mailing address, plus an optional group-hospitality checkbox and a free-text box about your group.
2. After the list closes, entries are selected at random. Not in the order received, not weighted by anything you wrote.
3. If you are drawn, you get an email with purchase instructions for an assigned purchase window. You then log into Fans First Tickets and buy during that window.
4. Submitting an entry does not guarantee tickets. The league repeats this line on every page it controls, and it means it.

There are two more rules that trip people up. First, the form rejects duplicates, and all details must match your own records — no mixing your email with a friend's address. Second, the 2026 Banana Bowl lottery restricted entries to residents of the United States, Canada, and Mexico, age 16 and up, with a government ID that matches the name and address on the entry. That is the same ID you may be asked for at the gate.

There is no fee to enter. If a site asks you to pay to "register" for the Banana Ball lottery, it is not the lottery. The only entry points are bananaball.com/tickets and the fansfirsttickets.com subdomains it links to.

The timeline, with dates

Everything below comes from official Banana Ball pages unless the source column says otherwise. Dates for the 2027 season have not been released; we will add them when they are.

The pattern across the last two cycles is consistent: a Selection Show in October, a lottery list open for roughly three weeks, and purchase offers that arrive over the following months, with venue partners describing invitations landing about two months before a given game. For 2027, the only official action available right now is joining the Ticket Interest List, which is how the league announces the next list.

What the winner email looks like and how long you have

The help desk spells out what a selected entrant receives: an email from Banana Ball containing your purchase date and time, a link to access the ticket sale, and information about purchasing your tickets. You buy through your Fans First Tickets account during that assigned window.

What the league has not published is a fixed number of hours for the window. Several fan and venue write-ups describe it as short — on the order of a day — but we could not find that figure on an official Banana Ball page, so treat "act the same day your window opens" as the safe rule rather than a guarantee. Three official details that matter more:

• Selection is not a seat hold. The email gives you access; it does not guarantee that every ticket type, seating location, or price level is still available when you log in.
• Priority groups go first. For the Banana Bowl, K Club members (August 25) and season-ticket holders (August 28) purchased before general entrants, so general windows see what is left.
• Unclaimed tickets recirculate. If you were not picked initially, the help desk says to watch your email, because additional opportunities may become available if tickets remain after earlier windows.

One practical warning from the entry form itself: if you unsubscribe from Banana Ball emails, Fans First Entertainment says it cannot send you important updates about your entry and tickets. Keep the address subscribed, check spam, and opt in to SMS so you also get one-time login codes.

Prices and purchase limits

• Starting price: $35 when bought directly from the team (thesavannahbananas.com). Forbes reported fixed pricing with no fees, averaging $45–$50 at MLB and NFL stadiums.
• Banana Bowl 2026: $40–$60 standard, club/premium from $75, Banana Ball Backstage from $125 (help.bananaball.com).
• Limit: 5 tickets per person for lottery winners.
• Kids: children 3 and under do not need a ticket if they sit on an adult's lap; a seat of their own requires a ticket.
• Groups, suites, clubs: mostly sold by the host venue at the venue's prices. Tick the group-hospitality box on the lottery form and the Banana Ball ticket team contacts you directly if they can accommodate you; the team warns group options are incredibly limited.

Family and accessible seating

The league's published guidance here is thin, so we will stick to what is sourced. On families: the lap-child rule above, and the "additional ticket request" process — buy what your window allows, then call (912) 712-2482 to ask for one more seat for an immediate family member, with no guarantee. On accessibility: Banana Ball's own pages do not describe an ADA request flow inside the lottery form. Accessible seating is handled by each host venue, and policies vary (some venues sell ADA and companion seats first-come, first-served). The right move is to buy during your window, then contact the venue's box office and the Banana Ball ticket team about accessible or companion seating, and check the Know Before You Go page the league posts for every stop.

About your odds

Banana Ball does not publish selection rates. What it has published is scale: 2.2 million tickets sold in 2025, a waiting list Forbes reported at more than 3.5 million, and 179 regular-season games in 2026.
