Banana Ball scores, standings & schedule

Banana Ball is the Savannah Bananas' reinvention of baseball: two-hour games, a point for every inning won, no bunting, batters sprinting to first on ball four, fans catching foul balls for outs, and a one-on-one Showdown instead of extra innings. In 2026 six teams play it — the Bananas, the Party Animals, the Firefighters, the Texas Tailgaters, the Indianapolis Clowns and the Loco Beach Coconuts — in the Banana Ball Championship League, touring ballparks in more than 70 cities.

The season ends with the league's first championship game, the Banana Bowl at Nationals Park on October 10. Four teams make the October playoffs: the Texas Tailgaters already hold an automatic berth as Banana Ball Open champions, and the next three by winning percentage join them.
