About Noah Bridges
Noah Bridges is an outfielder for the Firefighters and one of the fastest players in Banana Ball. He grew up in Four Oaks, North Carolina, starred at South Johnston High School and played college baseball at UNC Wilmington, graduating in 2016.
Bridges first made his name with the Savannah Bananas, where his looks and dance numbers earned him the "Heartthrob" nickname and a social following that now tops 170,000 on Instagram. He wore No. 9 in Savannah and has kept it since. His South Johnston coach, Aaron Parnell, has described the Bridges brothers as high-character players who worked harder than anyone on the team, and both went on to play at UNCW together.
In 2024 he moved to the Firefighters, Banana Ball's third touring team, where he was reunited with his older brother Zachary, a former Charleston Dirty Birds player. The two had been teammates at South Johnston and UNCW, and a staged "fight-dance" between them when the Bananas played the Dirty Birds was what convinced the organization to put them on the same roster. Zachary is also on the 2026 Firefighters, and has his own page on this site.
Bridges' game is built on speed: in the 2026 BBCL season he reached double-digit stolen bases on fewer than 50 at-bats, and he is a frequent pinch-runner and late-inning defensive sub when he is not starting in left field. His live stat line is above; the Firefighters' playoff position is on the standings page.
